About Anna

Anna May is a national security and homeland defense professional with experience spanning congressional oversight, legislative strategy, and emerging technology policy. She most recently served as a Professional Staff Member on the House Committee on Homeland Security, leading initiatives within the Border Security and Enforcement and the Emergency Management and Technology Subcommittees.

Earlier, she served as a Legislative Assistant to Representative Michael Guest, managing his Homeland Security and Appropriations portfolios, and in multiple roles for Representative Trent Kelly. She was selected as a Space Policy Fellow with the Nonproliferation Policy Education Center, studying international space policy and nuclear nonproliferation. She holds an M.A. in Government with a concentration in Security Studies from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Political Science and English from Mississippi State University. Her experience across congressional oversight, appropriations, and federal policy development provides clients with insight into the legislative and executive branch processes that influence government accountability, agency operations, and federal procurement decisions.
